Professional Training
IWSS Sexual Assault Program also develops and facilitates custom-made training services to professional organisations and individuals who provide any kind of service to women from non-English speaking backgrounds who are/may be affected by sexual and domestic violence.Training and education sessions are informed by the specific experiences of NESB women and include information about their migration experiences and how these may impact on their experiences of violence and their access to services.
